Mustered into Confederate service for one year on July 18, 1861.
Reorganized on March 22, 1862.
Continued to serve in the militia regiment until May 14, 1862.
Intended to be made one of the companies of the 4th Artillery Regiment.
Surrendered at Appomattox Court House on April 9, 1865.
