Men from the disbanded Page-Shenandoah "Eighth Star" Artillery Battery were asigned to this battery on September 26, 1862.
Armed with four 12-lb. Napoleans from July 1, 1863, to December 28, 1864.
Surrendered at Appomattox Court House on April 9, 1865.
